Deleting your account

How to delete your Mix & Frame account (formerly CapPaste: the editor at mixandframe.com and the app for Android and iPhone) and the data kept with it.

Delete it yourself

• Sign in at www.mixandframe.com in any web browser, or in the Mix & Frame app, with the account you want to delete.
• Open the Mix & Frame logo menu → Settings… → Delete account, type DELETE and choose Delete account.
• The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. You can sign in again later; that makes a new, empty account.

Or ask us

• Send Contact us (subject Account & sign-in) from the logo menu while signed in with that account, and ask us to delete it. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
• To delete only some of your data (for example your messages or template ratings) and keep the account, ask us the same way.

What is deleted

• Your account (sign-in with Google or Apple), profile (name, email, photo, country), usage records, Contact us messages, template ratings, favourites and recently used templates, export copies (project files, preview images and review samples) and content review frames.
• Projects and media saved on your device are not on our servers; delete them on the device (clear the site’s data, or uninstall the app).

What is kept

• If exporting was disabled for the account (content rules), that record is kept, with the account’s email address, so it also applies to a new account with the same address.
• Template totals (how many times each template was used) contain no personal details and stay. Server logs that mention the account are deleted automatically within 30 days.
